Since learning even more about the science of reading and structured literacy, I have updated these cards to only include sight words or fully decodable words appropriate for a first grade learner. They must use the picture to help them figure it out. Learners will need to use the picture to figure out these words. For example, in the sentence, “I jump on the trampoline,” trampoline is not a decodable word. The free sight word sentence cards have some harder words that appear in the sentences.
